Our Mandate
Stó:lõ Tourism Commission Promotes Aboriginal Tourism in the Stó:lõ Territory
throughout the Fraser Valley. Unique tourism operations include Cultural
Interpretive Centres, Longhouses, Pit Houses, Boat Tours, Campgrounds,
Cultural Events, Canoe Races, Pow Wows, and Agri Tourism.
Aboriginal Tourism is a growing industry in British Columbia. Many programs and opportunities
are available for travelers, existing businesses, and of course, Aboriginal Cultural Tourism Providers.
This site has been designed for three reasons:
- To showcase the existing Aboriginal Tourism Products and Services in the area
- To communicate to Aboriginal People in the Stó:lõ Territory the opportunities that exist in the Aboriginal Tourism Industry
- To offer resources to existing businesses and those wishing to start their own businesses
